Nancy Kane is a lifelong Wyoming resident whose love for the outdoors and appreciation for the natural world have become the foundation of her artistic journey.Â

Born and raised in Dubois, Wyoming, she grew up surrounded by towering mountains, winding rivers, abundant wildlife, and wide-open spaces that instilled in her a deep respect for nature. In 2022, Nancy moved to Boulder, Wyoming, where she continues to enjoy the peaceful rural lifestyle that has always inspired her creativity.

Nancy is the proud mother of two teenage boys, who have grown up sharing many of the same outdoor traditions that have been a part of her life for as long as she can remember. She also shares her home with her partner, Jeremiah, and her two dogs, Maggie and Birdy, whose companionship brings warmth and joy to everyday life. Together, they have built a home that encourages creativity, hard work, and the pursuit of dreams.

An avid outdoorswoman, Nancy spends much of her free time hunting small game and fishing throughout Wyoming. Whether she's casting a line into a quiet mountain stream or watching wildlife in its natural habitat, she finds inspiration in the simple moments that many people overlook. The changing seasons, weathered landscapes, and native animals of Wyoming continually influence both the subjects and spirit of her artwork. Her deep connection to the outdoors gives her a unique perspective that is reflected in every piece she creates.

Art has always been a part of Nancy's life. From an early age, she found joy in drawing, painting, and creating, but the responsibilities of raising a family and paying rent often left little time to fully pursue her passion. Like many artists, creativity remained in the background for years, patiently waiting for the opportunity to flourish. Recently, Nancy has been fortunate enough to devote more time to her artwork, allowing her lifelong passion to grow into something much more meaningful.

As she has dedicated herself to creating art, Nancy has discovered not only a creative outlet but also a renewed sense of purpose. She enjoys exploring different techniques and styles while remaining true to the subjects that mean the most to her: Wyoming's wildlife, landscapes, and outdoor heritage. Her goal is to create artwork that evokes feelings of joy for the person commissioning said artwork.Â

Nancy's family has been her greatest source of encouragement throughout this journey. Jeremiah and her two sons have wholeheartedly supported her dream of turning her passion into a full-time adventure. Their belief in her abilities has given Nancy the confidence to pursue opportunities she once only imagined, and their support continues to motivate her every step of the way.

Today, Nancy is committed to building a life centered around her art. She hopes her work brings a sense of peace, nostalgia, and appreciation for the natural world to those who experience it. Through every piece, she strives to capture not only the beauty of Wyoming but also the stories, traditions, and quiet moments that make it such a remarkable place to call home.
